Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up near Tallahassee located in Florida. Her birthplace was in Miami Beach on September 21, 1964 to Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She studied at West Virginia University, Florida State University and the University of Central Florida. Then, when she relocated from Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and enrolled in comedy classes there that she truly felt like she had learned about comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first instructor at the Groundlings Theater was an excellent teacher. She started to study how to come up with ideas and draw comic sketches. Her experience was instrumental in her preparation to play Larry David's wife in the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000).
