Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress who was born the 3rd of October, 1983 on the streets of Los Angeles. The actress is the daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) and his granddaughter Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. The family lived as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her mother is of Mexican and British Isles heritage, while her father is African-Panamanian. Thompson studied at Santa Monica High School where she participated in many theatre productions. In the years following her graduation, she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she graduated with a degree in culture anthropology. In a performance at Pasadena's Boston Court Theatre, she appeared as Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". That same year, her performance was awarded recognition with the NAACP Theatre Nomination. Apart from the scene, in 2005 Tessa had her first television appearance on the CBS series
