Sutton Foster, an actor, singer, and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows, including the most recent production of Violet. She also originated roles on Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie as well as Young Frankenstein. Sutton Foster first appeared on television on Star Search at age 15 She has also performed on Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster has toured the US and abroad as a soloist with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish", her first solo disc, and her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster live at the Caf Carlyle". In 2011, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree at Ball State University where she is also on the faculty as a professor and advisor for members of the Department of Theatre and Dance. The new TVLand program, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
